Here you will find Jayden's various creations, be they drawings, angry scribbles or late night doodles; random writings, short stories, perhaps a series or incoherent stream of consciousness ramblings; or all the things he makes out of junk such as discarded soy milk cartons, cardboard boxes, 20-lb dog food bags and empty shampoo bottles.
Maybe someday he'll even post music he composed himself.

Simply one of the most amazing comics I’ve ever seen.
It’s really that simple. In that it’s not simple at all.
This is a really awesome comic. Every day I force myself to remember that every single person has a life and has had experiences that I know nothing about. People are always so much more than just what you see up front. It’s a little overwhelming to think about, but that’s why you have to make sure to not take strangers for granted. Reach out if you see someone in need. Make small talk with your waitresses or cashiers. Everyone is a person with a lifetime full of wisdom.
I’ve been much too busy and overwhelmed with life to really draw, but this comic is absolutely amazing with its transitions and how well it comes around full circle in the end.
[2/10/2013 6:55:46 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: One of the things I do when I’m in a block.
[2/10/2013 6:55:56 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: Is I keep playing song after song.
[2/10/2013 6:56:08 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: And the first thing that comes to mind when I play a song, I stick with that idea until the song finishes.
[2/10/2013 6:56:10 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: Then I move on.
[2/10/2013 6:56:29 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: I need to be able to convey my idea clearly enough in the time allotted to the song.
[2/10/2013 6:56:40 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: I was listening to the Paperman score.
[2/10/2013 6:56:52 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: The start of it reminds me of winter.
[2/10/2013 6:57:18 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: I thought of a little boy all bundled up walking through an area of brush. By himself. In the snow.
[2/10/2013 6:57:27 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: And then he sees a bird with broken wings.
[2/10/2013 6:58:12 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: The part where the music speeds up: the poor boy grabs the bird in his hands and runs off looking for someone to help.
[2/10/2013 6:59:07 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: The only thing said that I can hear throughout the entire scene is him crying and screaming at his parents, “What do you MEAN we can’t do anything???”
[2/10/2013 6:59:28 PM] Jayden Christopher Lee: That’s the scene I drew.
Drawing Exercise to Paperman Score
2013 February
Broken pencil on scratch paper
I am in a block because I haven’t drawn anything in so, so, so long. So much time has been spent working and going to class that I have little time for much else.
Ironically, the only time I have to do anything for myself is when I am too sick to make it to work or class, and I have days just to myself… in bed. Bundled up. Because I have a cold/flu.

I didn’t finish the Sketchbook Project. I didn’t finish the Pokemon drawing spree whathaveyou.
I’ve been much too busy with work.
This is the first drawing I’ve done simply for the sake of drawing … in the past two or three months, if not more. This is just… all kinds of depressing, but also… inspiring? Motivating? Fullfilling?
Something. I had a good time drawing this. It was a good ten minutes. <3
It’s a character of mine that I haven’t really fully developed. The storyline itself isn’t fully developed. Very little of the characters are. But um. One day. :)
I can’t do this post justice in that I can’t explain why I think this is so great. This is mostly because it’s past midnight and I’m exhausted from working all week.
But… an attempt: I am lovin’ this because I think it says a lot in two pages and it does a wonderful job of tying it all together in such a short span of “time”.

Sketchbook Project 2012: Cover
December 2011
Pentel liquid gel ink pen; Faber-Castell PITT artist brush pen
My girlfriend and I had been fighting nearly all night and I couldn’t sleep. I typically miss her terribly after we fight, so this image (and the silly messages) popped up in my head while I was on the verge of a horrid panic attack.
Panic attack averted, I decided to FINALLY start on my sketchbook for the project and figured that said image would be great for the cover. So yes, this is the finished cover. Look how pretty it is. <3
Hey, guys. Just uploading it here for reference should I ever actually purchase Prismacolor markers (I’m honestly leaning more towards the Faber Castell grayscale markers).

This is taking SO LONG… mostly because I haven’t worked on it much since the last screen cap. I haven’t been feeling all too well, but hopefully I’ll finally get my ass in gear and, you know, finish this dang thing.
Experimenting with hair. (That sounds a little funny.)
But seriously… I’m just experimenting with different ways or methods of… conveying/defining hair, as well as playing with line widths.
Granted, I’m not all too experienced with either of these.
Either way, I just wanted to share. I personally thought it looks pretty cool.
Going to try to do this. It’ll be kind of hard ‘cause of commissions, but… hey! Why not? :)
(Sorry. Deleted older posts because it was stretching out the page and, consequently, freaking me out.)
